In the Heart of Pointe Saint-Charles, an area where parking is not ideal , and backyards are often scarce spaces, we maximized our clients living area with this luxurious, low maintenance, outdoor living space.

With a touch of outdoor furniture, this space is perfect for hosting parties, having dinner with the family , or just relaxing and enjoying the evening. 

This project consisted of full excavation with a new base backfill, including the installation of a new drain for the base of the newly constructed garage with proper irrigation.

New unistone installation using Techo-bloc Para, Nickel Grey, a permeable driveway using Techo-bloc Aquastorm with a unique granite crushed stone fill, adjoined with slate decorative stone to accent the driveway as well as tie in the complete design. 

Lastly, we got rid of the unsightly old trellis fence that was falling apart and built a brand new 6' fence, with cedar boards and 6"x6" posts, poured in cement, accompanied by a raised garden box, in Techo-bloc Borealis, Smoked Pine, for some gardening.

A modern raised patio layout to complement the timeless stamped cement encompassing the pool area, creates such an environment for the day or night time. Simple but timeless design keeps things classy for any occasion!

This space comes to life at night with outdoor lighting, dining & lounge areas, including tanning beds set on high end artificial turf. We've optimized this space to accommodate all the clients needs.  The balance between composite features and treated wood privacy walls surrounded by beautiful plantation and decorative stone makes for an inviting space that is fantastic for hosting.

Simplistic updates to the front steps, garden areas , and driveway borders with newly added light features tie-in all the elements from both the back and front yards creating a warm environment for your guest when entering or leaving after a great night.

When building a driveway with negative slopes towards the home , there are a few things to make sure of. 

First is to ensure the retaining walls have been properly excavated, to code, and backfilled appropriately with clean stone. 
Second is to make sure you have proper drainage with intentional slopes, to delegate water towards an exit located within the lowest point of the exposed wall.

Making sure there is a proper drain box and sufficient clean stone for our subbase towards the garage doors, ensures our clients proper drainage of any water that may accumulate also preventing ice from freezing over and creating a hazardous area in the driveway . 
We do not take any shortcuts in making sure our walls are built to last and executed with precision.

Integrating steps into our wall at the appropriate height, leading into our walkways make for a seamless design all the way to the front door.
Finished with some high end  polished decorative stone, our clients have a front yard that slows down traffic on this quiet street in the West-Island area.

Do you have annoying slopes between you and your neighbouring property causing you to lose square footage in your living area?

At this client's home we wanted to help them maximize their property's square footage, as well as give a proper ground for their new fence installation. 

We created a retaining wall along their property line in order to level out both their ground as well as their neighbours next door , maximizing the useable living space in both yards and creating a solid & level foundation for us to pour our fence posts in. Towards the front of the home , where the ground heights were drastically different , we created some steps built into our wall design , in order to split the different ground heights and created a safe entrance for everyone towards the back yard. 

Finished with some pavers for the entrance way to the back, some fresh sod in back and front of the property, and a permeable joint between the wall and paver area to ensure proper drainage, we are extra meticulous when working with multiple slope heights around a property as it can sometimes be tricky to accommodate appropriate water irrigation. We take proper measures to make sure it's done right.

This Modern estate overlooking the water in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro area was completely re-modeled.

By mixing timeless uni-stone that existed in the old landscape of this home's backyard , with modern styles, we gave new life to the existing design that the client's had sentiment towards, while adding major upgrades.

By raising all the ground along the shoreline with natural boulders we constructed a retaining wall , to help level out the harsh slopes of the grass area below the infinity pool, creating more space for friends and family to enjoy safely. 

The spacious raised patio stretches along the entire length of this home and wraps around the right side, creating a grand walkway to the side door and driveway.

It is connected seamlessly by re-leveled steps, adjoining the retaining walls that encompass the garden area, all the way around the elevated inground pool, utilizing older uni-stone wall blocks, mixed with some modern uni-stone of the same style, to achieve a harmonious blend of the existing design with our modern Blu Pavers and Raffinato steps from Techo-bloc.

These new steps and pavers can be seen throughout the property creating grand staircases, entranceways as well as to accommodate the property slope heights, while achieving appropriate slopes of our paver areas around the property.

Wrapping around to the front, we see the Grand entrance, with 2 raised garden boxes built to match the brick facade of the home. 

Continuing along the left side of the property was newly installed sod with a stepping stone path to the pool shed towards the back of the property.

Lastly, this 100ft+ long entrance, that opened up to the front drive way of the property, was converted into a round about, by simply adding a raised garden box, to tie-in and create purpose for the empty looking space, giving a more complete feel to the front of the home.

A grand front Entrance for this gorgeous corner lot property was necessary to accommodate the round about style driveway, giving a high-end experience from the car to the front door. 

With a sleek design and inlay to match the colours of the home, as well as lighting incorporated into the front steps this entrance lights up the evening with a warm welcome for all your guests.
